Best White-Label Gym Apps 2026 (Your Brand on the App Store)

CoachStackReviews Editorial TeamUpdated September 17, 2026

For a gym or studio, the member app is the touchpoint your members use more often than the front desk - it is where they book classes, check in, follow plans and get nudged back when attendance slips. On a generic platform, all of that engagement builds someone else's brand: the vendor's name sits on the member's home screen, and the push notifications arrive from a company your members never signed up with. White-label gym apps fix that. The platform builds and maintains the app; your gym's name, logo and colours go on the App Store and Google Play listing, and members experience your brand end to end. This guide is strictly for gym and studio businesses - if you are a solo trainer looking for a branded coaching app, we cover that market in a separate ranking. We compared six platforms that offer branded member apps to gyms in 2026, looking hard at what the branded tier actually includes, who handles publication, how pricing works, and what happens to the app if you ever leave.

  1. 1.PushPress— Best overall for gyms growing into a branded app
  2. 2.Virtuagym— Best European all-rounder

  4. 4.Glofox— Best-known boutique option
  5. 5.Exercise.com— Most customizable (enterprise)
  6. 6.Mindbody— Best marketplace visibility

PushPress

Best overall for gyms growing into a branded app
4.3

PushPress takes the top spot on overall strength: gym management with billing, check-ins and a strong owner community, plus a free entry tier that lets a small gym start without a monthly bill. A branded member app is available on the higher paid tiers, so a box or gym that grows into wanting its own name in the stores can get there without changing platforms. That growth path, free plan first and branded app later, is useful for new gym owners, and the peer community around the product is a resource in itself. The limits are geographic and linguistic. PushPress is built around the US market, and the platform offers little for gyms that need to serve members in several languages, which puts most European and multilingual operations at a disadvantage. And because the branded app is reserved for the top tiers, the headline free plan says little about what going branded will actually cost your gym.

  • Free entry tier lets small gyms start without a monthly bill
  • Branded app available as you grow into the higher tiers
  • Strong owner community in the box and functional-fitness world
  • US-centric, with little multilingual support
  • Branded app is reserved for the higher-priced tiers
2

Virtuagym

Best European all-rounder
4.1

Virtuagym, the Dutch all-in-one platform, is the strongest European option on this list. It combines club management - memberships, scheduling, billing - with a coaching layer of workout and nutrition tools plus community features, and offers custom branded app options so the whole package ships under your gym's identity. For a European gym that wants management and coaching from one vendor, with local market understanding that US-first platforms lack, that combination is hard to beat. The flip side is how the product is sold: Virtuagym is modular, and the quoted price grows as you add the branded app, coaching modules and community features on top of the base management system, so the final invoice can land well above the first number you hear. Setup reflects the same breadth - configuring packages, schedules and the branded app takes real time and attention. Plan a proper implementation phase rather than expecting to switch everything on in a weekend.

  • Club management and coaching tools in one European platform
  • Custom branded app options for gyms and studios
  • Broad feature set: scheduling, nutrition, community and billing
  • Modular pricing - the total climbs as you add components
  • Setup and configuration take real time for the full suite
3

Trainera

Best flat-priced white-label with coaching built in
4.3

Trainera's White Label plan gives a gym its own branded iOS and Android app with your logo, colours and app name, no Trainera branding, and push notifications sent under your brand. The App Store and Google Play listings are handled for you, the website builder runs on your own domain, and a dedicated account manager covers setup, with free migration from your current software. Underneath sits the gym stack: membership packages with access hours and entry limits, QR and turnstile check-in that stops expired members automatically, trainers and staff with page-level permissions, and AI features (food scanning and plan drafts built from a library of 1,800+ exercises and 1,100+ recipes) switched on per membership package, with trainers approving every draft. Pricing is a flat per-gym quote with unlimited members, no per-member fees and no setup fee, cancellable monthly, and yearly billing gives two months free. It ranks third because it is new to gyms: it has a shorter gym-operations track record than Glofox or Mindbody, fewer access-control and third-party integrations than the incumbents, and a support team that is still scaling.

  • Branded iOS and Android apps published for you, with push under your gym's name
  • Flat per-gym quote and unlimited members - no per-member fees or setup fee
  • AI food scanning and plan drafts can be enabled per membership package
  • QR and turnstile check-in, 20+ languages and free migration included
  • Dedicated account manager and website on your own domain
  • New to gyms, with a shorter track record than the incumbents
  • Fewer access-control and third-party integrations than Mindbody or Virtuagym
  • Support team is still scaling
4

Glofox

Best-known boutique option
4.0

Glofox is the name most boutique studio owners hear first when they ask about a branded member app, and the pedigree is genuine: the company has been shipping custom-branded booking apps for boutique gyms and studios for years, and it now sits inside the ABC Fitness family, which brings the resources and stability of one of the industry's largest back-office providers. The branded app covers class booking, memberships, payments and push notifications under your studio's name, and the member-facing experience is polished - which matters, because the app is the brand touchpoint members see daily. The caveats are commercial rather than technical. Pricing is quote-based, so you cannot compare costs without a sales call, and buyers regularly report contract terms rather than simple month-to-month billing. For a boutique studio that wants a proven branded app and is comfortable negotiating, Glofox remains the reference point the rest of this list gets measured against.

  • Longest boutique-studio pedigree for branded member apps
  • ABC Fitness backing brings enterprise-grade resources and stability
  • Polished booking, payments and push experience under your brand
  • Quote-based pricing makes cost comparison difficult
  • Contract terms rather than simple month-to-month billing
5

Exercise.com

Most customizable (enterprise)
4.0

Exercise.com sits at the enterprise end of this list. The US company builds custom-branded apps on top of what is probably the deepest workout software in the gym space - assessments, workout delivery, performance tracking and e-commerce can all be tailored to how your business actually operates rather than forced into a template. For a large gym brand or franchise with specific requirements - custom assessment flows, branded workout logging, integrated storefronts - that depth is the draw, and the company's service model is built around exactly those engagements. The positioning has consequences, though. There is no public price list at all: everything is quote-only, and the quotes reflect a premium, service-heavy product. The platform is also distinctly US-first, so multilingual member experiences and European payment habits are not the focus. If you need maximum customization and have the budget for it, Exercise.com belongs on the shortlist; a single-location studio will find faster, cheaper routes to a branded app elsewhere on this page.

  • Deepest workout-software customization of any option here
  • Custom-branded apps tailored to complex business requirements
  • Service model built for enterprise and franchise deployments
  • Quote-only pricing with premium positioning
  • US-first focus, weaker fit for multilingual European gyms
6

Mindbody

Best marketplace visibility
3.9

Mindbody's argument is unique on this list: alongside a branded app add-on, it operates the largest consumer marketplace in fitness, where people actively search for classes and studios in their city. A branded Mindbody app gives your members booking, payments and schedules under your name, while the marketplace listing brings visibility no other vendor here can offer, and the underlying booking and payments stack is mature. The trade-offs are equally distinctive. The branded app is a paid add-on on top of pricing that already leans enterprise, so the total cost is among the highest on this list. And the marketplace cuts both ways: the same platform that sends you new members also shows them competing studios one tap away, which sits awkwardly with the whole point of a branded app - owning the member relationship. Mindbody makes most sense for studios in dense urban markets where marketplace discovery genuinely fills classes; gyms whose members come from local reputation end up paying for reach they do not need.

  • Consumer marketplace reach no other vendor on this list offers
  • Mature booking and payments stack under your brand
  • Well-known platform many members already recognize
  • Branded app is a costly add-on on enterprise-leaning pricing
  • The marketplace also shows your members competing studios

How we ranked these

We scored each platform on branding depth (logo, colours and ownership of the store listing), what the branded tier actually includes for members, pricing model and transparency, multilingual and market fit, who handles app publication and updates, and switching risk if you leave the platform. Research is based on vendor pricing pages, help docs, feature pages and product demos, cross-checked against independent user reviews on G2, Capterra, the App Store and Google Play. No vendor paid for placement or influenced the rankings.

Frequently asked questions

A native iOS and Android app published under your gym's name, logo and colours, with the member features - class booking, check-in, payments, workouts - and push notifications sent under your brand. Some vendors, Trainera among them, also include a website on your own domain.
