Foire aux questions
This is every review on CoachStackReviews: coaching and training platforms scored on the same fixed rubric, with real pricing, pros and cons, and a plain note on who each tool fits. The questions below cover what a review includes, how often it is updated, and how we stay independent.
What does a full review on CoachStackReviews cover?
Each review covers the same ground: current pricing and what is gated behind each tier, a score broken down across five criteria, pros and cons drawn from vendor documentation and independent user reviews, an editorial verdict, and a plain note on who the tool is best for and who should skip it. Every review is dated and lists its sources so you can check the work.
How often are the reviews updated?
Whenever a tool ships a meaningful change or moves a price. Rather than posting a fresh take each time, we revise the existing review and update its date, so the URL you bookmarked stays current. The date at the top tells you when it was last checked, and pricing especially can move between checks.
Are these reviews independent?
Not fully: this site is published by the team behind Trainera, one of the tools we review, and we say so at the top of every page. No vendor can buy a score, a ranking or a spot on a list. We do not earn affiliate commissions from any other vendor; if we ever add affiliate links, the affected pages will say so. Trainera, the platform behind this site, is reviewed on the same rubric as every competitor.
Which review should I read for my situation?
If you coach one-on-one and care most about clean programming, start with the coach-first tools. If you run groups or a studio and want breadth, read the all-rounder reviews. If budget is tight, look at the reviews that flag flat-rate or generous free tiers. Each review's 'best for' and 'not for' lines are written to answer exactly this.
Do you review free coaching software too?
Yes. Where a tool has a genuine free tier or a long trial, we say what you actually get on it and where the paywall starts. A free plan that caps you at a couple of clients is treated differently from one you could run a small roster on, and the review makes that distinction clear rather than just ticking a 'free plan' box.
How do you decide the score for each app?
The overall score is the weighted average of five criteria: ease of use, features, pricing value, client experience and support. Pricing value and client experience carry the most weight. The scored breakdown on each review page shows exactly how the tool did on each one, so a single number never hides a weak spot.
Can I trust a review of software the site's own platform competes with?
That is a fair question, and it is why we disclose it plainly: Trainera, one of the tools we review, is backed by the same team as this site. Trainera is scored on the identical rubric as every competitor, its review names the same trade-offs as any other, and no tool — ours included — can pay to rank higher.
